The Rental Process

💻 STEP ONE:
Go to www.geraldtonpropertyteam.com.au and select RENTING > RESIDENTIAL. Once you have found a property you like select BOOK INSPECTION and complete the online booking. Completing this correctly and fully will ensure you are notified of the next inspection time for that property.

📱 STEP TWO:
Respond to the SMS by confirming you will be attending the inspection at the given day/time and then attend. Please note if you do not reply to the SMS it will be assumed you cannot make the inspection. Also, it’s important to be aware you cannot apply for a property without first inspecting it.
*Facetime viewings are available for those not currently residing in Geraldton.*

🖊 STEP THREE:
Fill out an application form which we can email to you. Please note an application MUST BE COMPLETED IN FULL, correctly and with all information required to be accepted at Step 4 and onwards. This includes having all references completed with email and phone numbers. Having all this information will help speed up the process and ensure you put forward the best application.

📑 STEP FOUR:
Your completed application will be processed in-house which can take 2-5 business days. During the in-house processing, we will call your references, check your ID and calculate your affordability. If this is all successful you will proceed to the next step.

🕵️‍♀️ STEP FIVE:
Your application will be presented to the Property Manager and then to the Owner. This will be within two working days.

⏳ STEP SIX:
We await the owner’s decision. In some cases this may take a little time due to a number of reasons, for example, the owner may have more than one application to consider, the owner may be hard to get a hold of or for other unknown circumstances.

🔑 STEP SEVEN:
You will be notified if you have been successful or unsuccessful in your application. Please note if you have been unsuccessful, we will be able to help locate another property that might be suitable and with your reference and ID checks already complete the process maybe even quicker.
